Ruins of Brederode Castle — Storia e analisi

Il Castello di Brederode, a nord-ovest di Haarlem, fu fondato nel XIII secolo. Subì gravi danni durante la Guerra degli Ottant'anni. Nessuna altra rovina olandese fu rappresentata così frequentemente dagli artisti nel XVII secolo come questo castello.

Qui Segers disegnò ogni muro e ogni singolo mattone.
