In questo giardino idealizzato e simmetrico, il tuo sguardo è guidato oltre uno stagno con fontane a forma di sfinge e maestosi archi trionfali verso una fontana con il dio del mare Nettuno seduto nel suo carro trainato da quattro cavalli. Il pittore De Moucheron ha creato quest'opera per l'Hortus Botanicus di Amsterdam. Le piante in primo piano vicino alla balaustra provengono dal Sudafrica e dalle Isole Canarie e potrebbero essere trovate anche nel giardino botanico.
