Christ Crucified between the Two Thieves — Historia y Análisis
Rembrandt representó a Cristo en la cruz en diferentes momentos a lo largo de su carrera. En la grabado superior, el más antiguo de los dos, omitió a los ladrones que fueron crucificados junto a Cristo. El Salvador mira a su madre, quien le devuelve la mirada y se desploma.
En la impresión posterior, Rembrandt incluyó a los ladrones, uno de los cuales dirige su atención hacia Cristo.
