Albert Cuyp, siete años mayor que Roghman, también ha representado el castillo de Loevestein desde la distancia. A diferencia del castillo de Roghman, oculto por los árboles, Cuyp dibujó el tejado a dos aguas que se eleva sobre la vegetación baja. Los pescadores en primer plano le dan a la escena un carácter anecdótico.
