Christ’s Descent into Limbo — História e Análise
Esses três grupos, de um grande altar da Crucificação, revelam quão colorida era a maioria das esculturas góticas originalmente. Durante uma recente restauração, foram encontrados pequenos fragmentos de vidro no antigo pigmento; isso teria contribuído para a impressão cintilante do todo. A pesquisa do carvalho mostra que as esculturas foram esculpidas após cerca de 1420, data da queda da árvore.
