Ambassador Cornelis Calkoen at his Audience with Sultan Ahmed III — Historia y Análisis
La audiencia real se llevó a cabo en los cuartos privados del sultán en el palacio. Después de la comida con el gran visir, a Calkoen y su séquito se les presentaron caftanes como signo de hospitalidad, pero también para cubrir la vestimenta de los 'no creyentes'. Ahmed se sienta en un trono, con cuatro príncipes a su lado.
