Hendrik de Keyser realizzò busti ritratti in terracotta (argilla cotta), che poi dipinse con colori naturali. Questi ritratti erano notevolmente meno costosi rispetto alle sculture scolpite nel marmo. Questo ha ancora il suo originale piedistallo in rovere.
