The Grand Vizier Crossing the Atmeydanı (Horse Square) — Storia e analisi
L'Atmeydanı era la grande piazza centrale di Istanbul. Due obelischi ricordano il fatto che l'area fosse un ippodromo in epoca antica. Il gran visir, a cavallo in basso a destra al centro, è accompagnato da soldati e preceduto da due servitori.
Portano un tappeto da preghiera e un cuscino nel caso venga chiamato alla preghiera durante il tragitto.
