The Grand Vizier Crossing the Atmeydanı (Horse Square) — Histoire et analyse
L'Atmeydanı était la grande place centrale d'Istanbul. Deux obélisques rappellent que cette zone était un hippodrome dans l'Antiquité. Le grand vizir, à cheval au centre droit inférieur, est accompagné de soldats et précédé de deux serviteurs.
Ils portent un tapis de prière et un coussin au cas où il serait appelé à prier en route.
