Para esta gravura, Segers cobriu praticamente toda a placa com um denso padrão de linhas entrelaçadas. Ele bloqueou características que desejava reservar. Impressa em papel branco, isso resultou em sutis gradações de tons de preto e cinza e no jogo de luz na copa folhosa da árvore e em outros lugares.
