En su día de boda en 1759, Helena Slicher llevaba este vestido con una falda de no menos de dos metros de ancho. La falda está sostenida por grandes paniers, aros laterales alrededor de las caderas. Inusualmente, este vestido combina dos tipos diferentes de vestido de corte.
El corsé con una 'cola' sigue el vestido de corte inglés, un mantua, mientras que la cola suelta era popular principalmente en el continente.
