Shiva Nataraja — Historia y Análisis
Shiva, en su manifestación como Nataraja (Rey de los Bailarines), representado en la pose de anandatandava y rodeado por un halo de fuego, es tanto el creador como el destructor del mundo. Bajo su pie hay un enano, simbolizando la ignorancia. Figuras de bronce ricamente decoradas de dioses hindúes eran llevadas en procesión durante los días de fiesta.
Se insertaron postes de transporte a través de los anillos en la base.
