Guanyin se encuentra sobre una base de loto, con la mano izquierda levantada en un gesto de tranquilidad y sosteniendo un jarrón en la mano derecha. Aquí se le representa como una divinidad masculina. Después de la dinastía Tang (618-907), los artistas comenzaron a retratar a Guanyin como una mujer.
