Esta figura proviene de uno de los santuarios en Candi Loro Jonggrang, el complejo de templos hindú más grande de Java Central. Los tres templos más importantes del complejo están dedicados a los dioses Shiva, Vishnu y Brahma. Aunque la identidad de esta figura masculina no se conoce, el halo detrás de su cabeza significa su estatus divino.
Sobre su hombro izquierdo hay un cordón sagrado.
