Self-portrait in a Fur Cap — Histoire et analyse
Après que Rembrandt ait peint un autoportrait très inhabituel avec son visage dans l'ombre vers 1628 (ailleurs dans cette galerie), il a essayé la même approche dans ses gravures. Cela s'est avéré être une tâche difficile. Au départ, les détails dans l'ombre étaient à peine reconnaissables.
Il a réussi seulement avec une nouvelle tentative en 1633 (au milieu).
