Shipwreck off a Rocky Coast — 歴史と豆知識

海に出た者たちは命を賭けてルーレットを回していた。木製の船は小さくて壊れやすく、実際の危険は、計り知れない深海に住む恐ろしい生物の恐怖の物語によって誇張されていた。ウィラーツは、すべての水夫の最悪の悪夢のイメージを創造した。一隻の船は岩に叩きつけられ、他の二隻は傾いている。中央の生存者たちは、巨大な魚に脅かされている。
