Aqui está simbolicamente retratada a árvore genealógica de Cristo. Ela cresce a partir da figura adormecida de Jessé, antepassado de uma linha de reis que incluiu, segundo a tradição, Salomão, Davi e Jesus. Os ramos estão preenchidos com os reis de Israel, entre eles o rei Davi com sua harpa.
No topo, a Virgem está entronizada com o Menino Cristo em seu colo.
