Mary Magdalene — Historia y Análisis

María Magdalena puede ser reconocida por el frasco de ungüento en sus manos con el que cuidó los pies de Jesús tras su conversión al cristianismo. Generalmente se la representa como una prostituta, haciendo referencia a su supuesto pasado. La influencia de la pintura italiana, que Van Scorel encontró durante una estancia en Roma y Venecia, es evidente en su vestimenta.
