Self-portrait — Historia y Análisis
Vincent se mudó a París en 1886, después de escuchar de su hermano Theo sobre el nuevo y colorido estilo de la pintura francesa. Sin perder tiempo, lo probó en varios autorretratos. Hizo esto principalmente para evitar tener que pagar por un modelo.
Usando pinceladas rítmicas en colores llamativos, se retrató aquí como un parisino vestido a la moda.
