Ambros Ivo Vermeersch was a Belgian painter active primarily as an architectural, view, and landscape painter. He created detailed views of historical cities, churches, and buildings and is regarded as a representative of 19th-century romantic view painting. A significant portion of his artistic career was spent in Munich from 1841 onward.
