Swiss, 1840–1919
Helga von Cramm (1840–1919) was a painter from the von Cramm family who designed chromolithographed Christmas and greeting cards. Von Cramm's cards show flowers such as fuchsias and orchids as well as Swiss Alpine views, including the Maderane Valley, the Wetterhorn and Ragaz, paired with devotional verses by writers such as Frances Ridley Havergal. Several were published in Britain by C. Caswell.
