Michael Healy was an Irish stained glass artist who achieved international recognition in the first half of the 20th century. He was part of a small group of notable artists in this medium, alongside Wilhelmina Geddes, Evie Hone, and Harry Clarke. Early in his career, he distinguished himself as an illustrator and cartoonist, and he documented Dublin street characters. Healy also painted in oil, creating portraits and landscapes, with a few of his landscapes exhibited during his lifetime.
