The Flower Piece in the Hallwylska Collection should be an independent version, not a copy of the painting in Brussels, something that is not unusual in the case of Faes. - - The use F [?] S (in monogram) sought on the urn in the museum catalogue is not to be found. The flower-piece in the Hallwyl Collection is flowan flowen version, not a copy of the Brussels flow, flowis not uncommon where Faes is concerned.*
