Drinking horn from the Amsterdam Company of Arquebusiers — History & Facts

This luxury drinking horn played a prominent role in civic guard ceremonies. The horn was passed around the table and everyone drank from it. In this way, the militiamen expressed their common bond and unity.

The claws in the silver mount are the symbol of the arquebusiers.
