Donald Shaw MacLaughlan (1876–1938) was a painter and printmaker born in Charlottetown. After his family moved to Boston, he studied painting before relocating to Paris at age twenty, where he attended the École des Beaux-Arts. He shifted his focus to printmaking, producing over 300 plates, mainly etchings, drypoints, and aquatints, often depicting Paris and later Italian scenes.
