Window of Vincent's Studio at the Asylum — History & Facts
A tall arched window dominates the room, its panes outlined in bold strokes and filled with the cool blue of daylight, while green foliage is visible just beyond the glass. On the windowsill, bottles and a cup are arranged in a loose row, their forms simplified and outlined in dark lines. Boxes and books sit stacked in the lower right, their edges echoing the geometry of the window, while sketches hang on the ochre-colored wall.
Window of Vincent's Studio at the Asylum was created by Vincent van Gogh in 1889.
