French, 1874–1946
Active in France, Pierre-Eugène Montézin painted in an Impressionist style during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in 1874 and passing away in 1946, he participated in the painting event at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Montézin was a close friend of Swiss painter Hans Iten, and the Ulster Museum holds a portrait he created of Iten, which was donated by Montézin's widow.
